Jack Dominic, Executive Director of the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting, will share the history of the VOA and Bethany Station. He will discuss the extraordinary impact the programs broadcast from this hilltop in West Chester had globally. The lecture is free with donations appreciated. This event is part of the VOA Museum / MidPointe Library Series. THE LECTURE WILL BE GIVEN AT THE MIDPOINTE LIBRARY IN WEST CHESTER

He will give a hands-on demonstration of how early radio programs made use of sound effects to transport listeners to places and situations far from their living rooms.
